Sehr geehrte Damen und Herren,
 
Diese Seite ist für Jajce Besucher, Liebhaber des kulturellen Erbes, der Naturschönheiten, Künstlern, Fotografen, den verschiedenen Fachleuten, den Bildungsinstitutionen und all denen die den in- und ausländischen Besuchern Informationen bereitstellen, bestimmt.
 
Am 12.03.2007 ist die öffentliche Einrichtung “Die Agentur für kulturelles, historisches und natürliches Erbe und für die Entwicklung des Tourismus in Jajce“ (im weiteren Text “Agentur“) wurde nach dem Beschluss Nummer 01-202-2766/07 des Gemeinderates von Jajce mit dem Ziel der Erhaltung, der Restauration und Förderung der kulturellen und historischen Denkmälern und des Naturerbes der Gemeinde Jajce und dessen Entwicklung und Promotion des Tourismus, gegründet.
 
Ich möchte den Agenturmitarbeitern, geleitet von Frau Aida Softić Joldić, für die Ergebnisse ihrer bisherigen Arbeit und die ausfertigung des Fremdenführers von Jajce, der die Grundlage für die erstellung dieser Webseite gibt,Ehre erweisen.
 
Ein besonderes Dankeschön geht an den Bürgermeister Herrn Edin Hozan und seine Mitarbeiter für die bisherige und zukünftige Unterstützung in der Arbeit der Agentur und der Förderung des Tourismus von der Gemeinde Jajce.

This web site is made for all the visitors of Jajce, cultural heritage and natural beauty fans, artists, photographers, experts of different profiles, educational institutions and all those who are involved in providing tourist information that might be of interest to both, domestic and tourists from abroad.

Public Institution “Agency for Cultural, Historical and Natural Heritage and Development of Tourist Potential of Town Jajce” (hereinafter: “the Agency”), has been founded on 12th March, 2007, by the decision of the Municipal Council of Jajce. The goal of its founding is to preserve, restore and revitalise the cultural-historical monuments and natural heritage of the Municipality of Jajce, and develope and promote the tourist potential of Jajce.

I am using this opportunity to give honour to the employees of the Agency, and to Mrs. Aida Softic Joldic as their previous leader in achieving these positive results, and for the created touristic guide, which is the basis for this website development.

I especially thank to the Municipal Mayor, Mr. Edin Hozan and his associates on the past and future support and assistance in the work of the Agency and the development of tourism in the Municipality of Jajce.

Video – dokumentarni zapis o željezničkoj stanici uskog kolosjeka u Jajcu

Dokumentarni zapis o željezničkoj stanici uskog kolosjeka u Jajcu, uz dodatni snimak željezničke kompozicije, sa lokomotivom UNRRA na čelu, na lokalnoj liniji Jajce-Šipovo, koja prolazi pored jednog od Plivskih jezera (snimio 1965. godine na 8mm filmskoj traci Ljubinko Bato Smoljanović (1928-2016) iz Banje Luke).

Pruge Prijedor – Srnetica – Drv – Lička Kaldrma i Srnetica – Jajce izgrađene su etapno u prvim godinama dolaska Austro – Ugarske monarhije na ove prostore. Izgrađene su kao šumsko – industrijske pruge sa isključivom namjenom eksploatacije šumskog i rudnog bogatstva Bosne.

Bile su vlasništvo moćnog austrijskog industrijalca Ota Štajnbajsa i imale su svoj vlastiti vozni i vučni park. Poslije drugog svjetskog rata uključene su u mrežu jugoslavenskih željeznica sa javnim prijevozom putnika i roba.

1. januara 1967. godine ukinuta je pruga Šipovo – Mlinište, a 1. aprila 1970. godine ukinutaje pruga Jajce Šipovo. Pruga Prijedor – Drvar ukinuta je 1. juna 1975. godine a posljednjadionica od Drvara do Ličke Kaldrme ukinuta je 1. avgusta 1978. godine.

Uvođenjem pruge normalnog kolosijeka dolazi do ukidanja pruga sa uskotračnim kolosijekom.Ovo je samo jedna u nizu trasa koje su ukinute.

Uskotračnim prugama su se koristileo parne lokomotive koje su kao pogonsko goriv koristile ugalj.Te lokomotive su u narodu poznate pod imenom “ćiro”.Pojavom modernih lokomotiva “ćiro” se koristi samo kao turistička atrakcija.
